Being there for more than just the wedding day is one of the greatest gifts a destination celebration can offer—and Katie & Pado’s week at Hotel Xcaret Mexico was exactly that.
From the very beginning, their celebration felt immersive. I had the chance to document their rehearsal dinner and welcome cocktail, which meant I wasn’t just stepping into their story for a single day—I was already part of the rhythm of it. There’s something so special about watching guests arrive, seeing their faces light up as they take in the beauty of the resort, and feeling that shared anticipation build.
The energy that night was effortless—hugs that lingered, laughter that carried, the kind of connection that only happens when everyone has traveled somewhere meaningful to celebrate together.
