German Village Engagement | Lauren and Jake

They met through their H2O group at volleyball night and knew there was a connection. The road ahead included many special moments, like the time when they first started dating and Jake carried Lauren when she couldn’t finish their marathon together. If that’s not a great preparation for marriage, I don’t know what is! He ended up proposing at Airplane Rock at Hocking Hills. At our meeting she laughed and told me that she appreciated the fact that their cellphone service didn’t work for awhile afterward, because they had such a private moment to just enjoy being engaged. Not to worry, because he had her parents fly in for a surprise right as they arrived back in town. She says that’s when she finally broke into tears at what was happening.

Just hearing about these stories makes me excited for Lauren and Jake’s marriage. It’s just a few short weeks away, and we’re so happy we get to be there!
