There are some weddings that feel full-circle, and Erin and Wil’s day was exactly that for me. I’ve known Erin since high school, so when she reached out to share that she had found the love of her life and was planning her wedding, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Watching her step into this season felt both deeply personal and incredibly special.
From the very beginning, their day reflected a quiet, timeless elegance. Erin chose a classic blue and white palette that perfectly complemented the atmosphere of the day—refined, meaningful, and full of intention. One of the most touching details was her grandmother’s hand-embroidered handkerchief, a beautiful heirloom woven into the celebration. It was one of those small but powerful elements that added so much depth and sentiment to the day.
Although the forecast brought rain, it never dampened the spirit of the celebration. In fact, it made everything feel a little more intimate, a little more cozy. And in a moment that felt almost meant to be, the rain paused just long enough for us to slip outside with the bridal party. We laughed, moved quickly, and captured some of my favorite images of the day—proof that sometimes the unexpected creates the most memorable moments.
One of the most unique and heartfelt parts of the day was Erin’s first looks. Not only did she share that emotional moment with her own parents, but she also chose to do a first look with Wil’s parents. It was such a beautiful reflection of the joining of two families, and you could feel just how deeply loved she already is by them. Throughout the day, it was impossible to miss the connection between Erin and Wil’s family—especially his sister, who stood by his side as his woman of honor. The pride, joy, and love they all have for Erin was written all over their faces.
As the evening unfolded, the celebration continued in a way that felt perfectly “them.” Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Erin and Wil chose to end the night with ice cream—such a fun and personal touch that had everyone smiling. It was the perfect ending to a day that was filled with intention, personality, and so much love.
Erin, I’ve always known you would have a day that felt like this—thoughtful, beautiful, and full of meaning. Getting to witness and document it was such an honor. And Wil, it’s so clear how deeply you love and support her. Together, you’ve created something truly special.
Your wedding day was a reflection of everything that matters most: connection, family, and choosing each other—again and again.
