Scioto Mile Engagement | Nikki and Cole

Engagement

Can you believe Nikki and Cole drove from Toledo for our 8am shoot here in Columbus? That’s some early-morning dedication. I’m so happy that they took the time to come hang out downtown with me. Their rescue pup also tagged along. I loved hearing how he joined their family, and how he just happened to already be named Fennel, which is Cole’s last name. It was meant to be.

OSU students graduated the morning that they came, which was fitting since Nikki and Cole met during their time at OSU. I wish I had been there to document Cole’s proposal, which even involved a glee club singing to Nikki outside Thompson library while family and friends waited inside and watched. It sounds like it was amazing.

I really enjoy these two. They were super friendly, even with such an early morning shoot. I can’t wait to see them get married at Oak Grove, my FAVORITE venue, next summer. Congratulations you two!
