Cozy Fall Session | The Barkans

There’s something undeniably magical about a rainy fall day—the kind that slows the world down just enough for you to notice the little things. When I pulled up to this sweet family’s home, rain was settling in for the afternoon. Instead of rescheduling, we leaned into it. And honestly? I’m so glad we did. I loved getting to snuggle with the pup, read books, and be present in their house.

By the time I left, it was still rainy, but none of us minded. We’d captured something better than a traditional fall session. We’d bottled up an ordinary, extraordinary afternoon—a family choosing to be present together, exactly as they are.
