Meghan and Conner’s wedding day at the Moraine Country Club was the kind of celebration that reminds me why I love what I do. Lisa Snapp Weddings curated a day filled with the most lush fall details—low-lit browns, warm textures, delicate mushrooms tucked into the florals—everything felt earthy, intimate, and completely them. It was autumn at its finest, wrapped into a celebration that felt both refined and deeply personal.

I first met Conner years ago when I photographed his sister’s wedding, and I still remember how excited I was when I heard he was going to propose to Meghan—and that he wanted me to be the one to capture it. Their story feels like fate that unfolded slowly and beautifully. Their parents had hoped to set them up, planting the idea quietly at a party, and I love that it worked. There’s something incredibly special about watching two families who were already friends become one. The joy in that room ran deeper than a single day; it had years of connection behind it.

The Moraine Country Club was the perfect backdrop for their celebration. The warm, moody tones of the décor blended effortlessly with the soft fall light, creating a cozy glow that carried from the ceremony through the reception. Every detail felt intentional without ever losing that relaxed, welcoming energy—so true to who Meghan and Conner are.

And then… there was The Sly Band. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a stage with so much energy. They lit up the reception from the very first song, and it fit Meghan and Conner’s families and friends perfectly. Watching their entire guest list packed on the dance floor—laughing, singing, celebrating—was one of those moments where you wish the night could last just a little longer.

Meghan and Conner, your day was full of heart, history, and the kind of joy that lingers well after the last song ends. I’m so grateful I got to walk through this chapter with you—from the proposal to the party of the year. Here’s to a lifetime of moments just as meaningful and full of warmth.
