Leveque Engagement | Courtney + Hunter

There’s nothing better than when couples choose locations that not only photograph beautifully but also hold meaning for their story — and Courtney and Hunter did just that for their engagement session.

We started the evening at the Dempsey Event Center, the gorgeous estate where they’ll be saying “I do” next year. It’s hard to put into words how special this venue feels in person. Strolling the property with them, surrounded by lush gardens and timeless architecture, only made me more excited to photograph their wedding day. The entire estate feels tucked away, peaceful, and completely romantic — the perfect place to begin the next chapter of their story.

After exploring the gardens and soaking in the beauty of The Dempsey, we made our way downtown to LeVeque Tower, one of Columbus’s most iconic — and glamorous — spots. Courtney and Hunter rented a suite at this historic hotel, which exudes all the elegance and charm of the Gatsby era. From the gilded details to the Art Deco-inspired design, every corner of LeVeque feels like stepping back in time.

We grabbed drinks in the lobby bar and then headed to the rooftop garage just in time for sunset. The soft golden light and panoramic city views made for the perfect, carefree end to their session. I love when couples are willing to slow down, enjoy the evening, and trust me to capture those real, in-between moments.
