Bridge Park Proposal | Derek + Taylor

Engagement

Derek contacted me many months ago over an excited phone call. He knew that he was planning on proposing to Taylor, and knew that he wanted it to be PERFECT (which definitely includes photos). As I got to know him more and we talked about potential ways to do it, I think that I got just as excited as he did. He picked the perfect spot. Derek and Taylor’s apartment overlooks the spot that he would get down on one knee, and they regularly walk there in the evenings. That isn’t to say there wasn’t potential hitches in his plan. The Friday that he had planned for, it was going to rain all day. I can’t believe how the rain stopped just in time for us to take photos, and then continued right after he proposed. When it started pouring, we popped in to VASO to get some cocktails before they went off to party with both friends and family. Thank you, you two, for being my very first proposal. I can’t wait to see you spend your future together.
