The Transept Cincinnati Wedding | Kelly and Andrew

Kelly and Andrew eloped in the most beautiful setting last September. The chapel was intimate, and they had just their family there to watch them exchange vows. Locals strolling by the church on a dogwalk came up to us, and told them they were celebrating their anniversary that day too. It was hard for me to believe that the day could be topped. I should have known that the big celebration this weekend would bring even more joy.

We always love traveling, and it was so exciting to explore bustling Cincinnati. I may led Kelly and Andrew directly in to a children’s playground/splashpad for photos in front of hydrangeas, but luckily they were down to explore with me too. The wet children definitely wanted to give her a hug. So many moments stuck out to me from the day. Right before Kelly stepped down the aisle, I watched Andrew turn to his Dad, and say “I’m going to cry”. He did. I love how Andrew’s Dad led the ceremony, and the audience laughed as Kelly and Andrew promised to (still) keep each other as husband and wife. Kelly and Andrew had a little figurine of their pup taking a bite out of their cake (how have I not seen this before? It was amazing). Their live band, the Untouchables, kept the energy high all night. We ended the evening with a tambourine solo from a very special guest up on the stage, and family and friends basically losing their minds. Every moment was perfect.
