What a perfect night! Ted’s from Chicago, so I was excited to meet up with these two when he was in town. I loved hearing about the day that they got engaged. It was perfectly planned on the beach in Chicago on an April day, but Ted couldn’t have planned on the sleet and snow that showed up. Ted didn’t miss the chance and the two explored the Violet Hour Bar and the Up room where he popped the question, and they celebrated with champagne. All I can say, is I wish I was there with a camera, because the view of Chicago’s skyline seems spectacular.
I’m really starting to love the engagement sessions that start with us just hanging out. We got some slices from Yellow Brick Pizza, where Katie and Ted went on their first date. We even sat at the same spot with the same picture of zombie Christopher Walken staring at us. I loved watching Ted make Katie laugh. You can tell they are the perfect fit for each other.
