The Darby House Wedding | Kristi and Nick
We first met Kristi and Nick at another one of our lovely couple’s weddings (Hi Morgan and Tim!) We photographed Nick giving toasts and the two of them dancing together before we ever really got to know them. How lucky we were to cross paths, and photograph their very own wedding a year later.
I loved hearing the story of their engagement. The two loved finding fossilized wood and Native American pottery on Nick’s Grandmother’s ranch in Arizona. Nick hid the ring under a very pretty piece of pottery and called Kristi over. His family was waiting back at the house with champagne. And soon enough it was their wedding day. I loved the simplicity of Kristi’s dress, watching them exchange vows over the water, and the touching tribute to Kristi’s grandmother when she held her wedding photo. We were so happy to be there. Congratulations you two!
