There’s a special kind of full-circle joy that comes with photographing a couple’s wedding and, years later, stepping into their home to document their first days as parents. Sweet baby Jane has no idea yet just how lucky she is—but I do. I’ve watched her mom and dad promise forever to each other, and seeing them now, completely and beautifully transformed by parenthood, felt like witnessing the next chapter of a story I already adored.

When I walked through their front door, I was greeted by the happiest pair of pups who clearly consider themselves Jane’s built-in protectors. They hovered close, curious and gentle, already settling into their new roles as furry big siblings. It was impossible not to smile watching them sniff her tiny toes and then curl up nearby as if to stand guard during her photos.

And then—her nursery. I’m not exaggerating when I say it might be my favorite I’ve ever seen. Every detail felt so intentional: warm textures, soft colors, and little touches that made the room feel timeless and deeply personal. It was the kind of space that instantly calms you the second you step inside, and I loved photographing Jane nestled in the place her parents created just for her.
