Inniswood Engagement | Nicole + Matt

Every once in a while, a story comes full circle in the best way possible. I first met Matthew when I photographed his brother’s wedding, and when he reached out to tell me he was going to propose to Nicole, I couldn’t wait to help him pull it off. Fast forward to now—and I get to photograph their engagement session, too!

From the moment Nicole arrived, I just knew these two were something special. She has this contagious, joyful energy that lights up every space she’s in, and together they’re pure fun to be around. You can tell right away how deeply they care for each other, but they never take themselves too seriously. There was so much laughter during our session—exactly the kind of energy I love to capture.

Nicole and Matthew are getting married at The Bluestone next year, and hearing them talk about their plans made me even more excited for their day. They told me that they recently went to see the artist who’s singing their first dance song—and not only did they get to meet him, but he actually performed their song with a shoutout to them in front of the whole crowd. How incredible is that?!

I can already tell their wedding is going to be a celebration full of joy, great music, and so much love. I’m counting down the days until I get to photograph them again—this time as husband and wife.
