Fall Family

There’s something so special about watching a family grow — especially when you’ve been there from the very beginning. I first met Jessica and Kyle when I photographed their oldest son as a newborn, and getting to meet their newest little one this fall felt like such a full-circle moment. They even dressed him in the same onesie his big brother wore when I first met him — the sweetest nod to how quickly time flies.

We kept this session cozy and real, just like their family. Most of the morning was spent in their living room, full of snuggles, laughter, and a few rounds of playful wrestling between brothers. The boys’ energy was infectious, and it was such a joy capturing those in-between moments that feel so them.

Before wrapping up, we headed outside to enjoy the crisp fall air. The family’s front stoop was perfectly decorated with pumpkins, and even their dog joined in for a few photos. It was the kind of session that reminds me why I love what I do — preserving the warmth of home, the chaos of little ones, and the quiet moments that say “this is our family.”

If every fall session could feel this heartfelt, I’d stay in this season forever. 🍂
