Audrey and Aaron’s wedding day was one I’ll be thinking about for a long time. These two tied the knot at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center — a spot that’s not only beautiful but filled with so much personality. Between the views of downtown and the sounds of birds echoing through the trees, it was the perfect backdrop for a couple as full of life as these two.
Audrey and Aaron are just so much fun. From the moment I met them, I knew they were something special. They’re both outgoing, joyful, and always ready to laugh — but underneath all that energy is this quiet tenderness that you can feel in every glance they share. It makes perfect sense that they both work as nurses and met during nursing school at The Ohio State University. That shared compassion radiates from them.
Their wedding day was filled with so many meaningful traditions honoring their Jewish heritage. They signed the Ketubah surrounded by their closest family and friends before the ceremony, and later the reception came alive with the Hora — one of my absolute favorite moments to photograph! I haven’t cried that hard (or laughed that much) in a long time.
And I can’t forget one of my favorite details of the night — our shared love of cats. During our first meeting, we instantly bonded over our pets, and Audrey and Aaron found the most perfect way to include theirs in the celebration. Throughout the night, guests kept discovering little laminated cards of their cats slipped into pockets, or bags each with a note that said, “You’ve been catted.” It was such a fun, personal touch — and yes, I found one in my back pocket at the end of the night, which absolutely made my day.
Audrey and Aaron, your wedding was such a joy to be a part of — full of laughter, love, and the most wonderful chaos. You two are so clearly meant for each other, and I’m just so lucky I got to document the start of your marriage.
