Newborn | Callan

There’s something so special about newborn sessions—the quiet, the wonder, and the way the tiniest details already tell such a big story. Baby Callan was no exception. From the moment I met him, he was so alert and curious, taking in the world around him with the sweetest little expressions.

I loved capturing all of his newborn details—those tiny fingers, soft wisps of hair, and the way he fit so perfectly in his parents’ arms. He was calm and content throughout our time together, making it such a joy to photograph him.

Of course, no family session would be complete without including Callan’s “big brother”—their pup, who took his role very seriously! Watching the sweet bond already forming between them was just the best. You can tell this dog already knows his little human is something extra special.

Sessions like these are why I love what I do. It’s such an honor to help families preserve these fleeting newborn days. Welcome to the world, Callan—you are so loved already.
