Branding | Denise with Annie Rose Events

There are some shoots that don’t feel like work at all — and photographing Denise, the heart and creative force behind Annie Rose Events, was exactly that. From the moment we started, it felt less like a branding session and more like spending the day with a dear friend — laughing, dreaming, and celebrating the work we both love so much.

Denise is one of the most talented wedding planners in the Columbus, Ohio area, bringing luxury, style, and intention to every couple she works with. Over the years, she’s introduced me to so many kind, lovely couples and beautifully curated weddings — but what I admire most about Denise isn’t just her work. It’s her.

She is the definition of bubbly, optimistic energy. The kind of person who lights up a room, keeps everything moving with grace, and always seems to know how to make people feel at ease. She’s also the friend I can call any time — whether it’s a late-night question or a quick creative brainstorm, I know she’ll answer.

During this branding shoot, we let ourselves daydream about destination weddings, new collaborations, and all the exciting things ahead. Watching her in front of the camera — confident, joyful, and totally in her element — made me so proud to know her, not just as a colleague, but as a true creative partner.
