There are some wedding days that just radiate joy from the very beginning — and Bridget and Logan’s day at The Club at Tartan Fields was exactly that. Bridget is one of those people whose happiness fills the entire room. From the first moment I saw her that morning, she was glowing — the kind of glow that doesn’t come from makeup or a dress, but from a soul overflowing with love and gratitude.
Bridget and Logan’s day was beautiful in every sense of the word. It was timeless, elegant, full of laughter — and at the very heart of it, their bond with each other (and their Corgi!) made it so incredibly special.
Yes — their Corgi absolutely showed up on their wedding day (although not physically present), whether in the Corgi cookie favors or the fact that Bridget kept spotting dogs all day.
One of the most emotional and meaningful parts of the day, though, was the way Bridget’s two late grandfathers were remembered and honored. There were little moments throughout the day where it felt like they were right there. A license plate with a special nickname. A butterfly floating through the background during portraits. A blue honor star sewn delicately into the fabric of Bridget’s gown — her “something blue.” None of these were coincidences. They were reminders of love that never truly leaves us. Each one felt like a quiet hug from heaven.
And just when we thought the day couldn’t be more magical, Logan surprised Bridget with one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve seen: a live wedding painting by Rachel Vaught Art. Seeing Rachel capture the ceremony on canvas throughout the evening added such a beautiful layer of artistry to the day. Guests loved watching the painting unfold in real time, and Bridget’s reaction when she saw it beginning to take shape was one I’ll never forget.
Every wedding tells a story — but this one felt like a fairytale. A joyful, heartfelt, dog-filled fairytale where love showed up in every smile, every brushstroke, and every small sign from above.
Bridget and Logan, thank you for letting me be a part of your magical day. I’ll be smiling about this one for a long, long time.
