Darby House Wedding | McKinzie + Garrett

McKinzie and Garrett were so thoughtful in how they planned their day. They told me that they wanted to be so thoughtful about their vendors, making sure that they supported local businesses. I’ve never watched a bride and groom walk around just gushing to the strings/florists/venue about how good they were doing. You could see the joy on their faces at getting married, but they also were so thoughtful about making sure everyone knew how happy they were.

And it worked out to perfection! every detail was perfect and meaningful. Joy Lane Florals had a bloom bar, where guests could create their own bouquets (can we have this at every wedding?!) and the ambiance with the live string players was just so peaceful. There were so many sweet moments. McKinzie pulled out a penny that she had picked up on her very first date with Garrett for good luck, and put it in her shoe. It’s like she knew from the beginning that they would eventually be here, on this day, getting married. Garrett had his sister as his best woman, which was so epic and I loved watching their sibling love. There were many tears all throughout the day. See the beauty here:
