Liz and Alex met at the beginning of the pandemic and told me that they quickly “broke the rules” in terms of seeing each other. When we first met for coffee, we spent a lot of time talking about how dating in such stressful times can really bring you close together. It’s a real litmus test for a future together. You could instantly see their connection. When I asked what was important to them, Alex thought for a moment and said he didn’t want to “lose the forest for the trees” and lose focus of the fact that their wedding day was really just going to be about the joy of marrying Liz. Liz touched his arm and teared up. Perfect.
These two are actually wedding photographers themselves, so I was a little more nervous than usual about documenting their day well. I didn’t need to be. While they are SO elegant, they are the nicest people. Every detail about the day was perfectly simple and timeless.
