Rachel and Matt got engaged in Hawaii, which is like an amazing dream to me. They were visiting his Dad during rainy season, and when it rained every day, he couldn’t take her on his planned hike. It had to wait until they could find a beautiful spot on their last day. We joked in our initial meeting that they will have to go back to Hawaii and take that same hike. They are both so kind, and seem like it is so easy for them to adapt and go with the flow (which I think is an amazing trait to have in marriage). I loved watching how close they were with friends and the joy on their faces. There were so many sweet touches on the day. Rachel got to wear her Mom’s wedding dress for the ceremony, and then switched into something fun and feathery for the reception. She gifted both Moms with purses that had pictures of Rachel and Matt with them when they were young. It was so easy to feel sentimental. Rachel and Matt also had the most AMAZING choreographed first dance, which made my job so easy!
