Courtney and Jeff’s went so perfectly. When I arrived, they were ALL smiles. I’ve never seen people so happy to be married. They chose to do a “first look”, which I usually encourage on the big day. I tell everyone how nice it is to actually have ten minutes alone together, and that they tend to be more sentimental. And boy, it was emotional. Jeff was just so excited to see his bride, and I’ll remember those moments always.
The sky threatened us with rain all day, all the way up to the ceremony. In the minutes leading up to the ceremony, it was sprinkling and it wasn’t clear if we would try to have the ceremony outdoors. It was PERFECT. The wind blew and chilled us all off from the hot 80 degree day. As SOON as they kissed and walked back down the aisle, the sky opened up and poured as the guests got under the overhang. It was meant to be.
