Mirror Lake Engagement | Bailey and Mike

I loved these two even before this session. I first met Bailey at her sister’s wedding (Hi Kelsey and Kyle!) She used to comment on my page that she was waiting to get engaged because one day I would be photographing her wedding. Let me tell you, the biggest compliment I’ve ever received is Bailey asking me what dates I was available before she even picked her wedding date. Getting to do their engagement session was an amazing time to get to know Mike better, and now I understand why they are such a good fit together.

When they got engaged, Mike had the most amazing idea to bring Bailey to a dog mini-session opportunity that Jorgensen was putting on. It was both their pup’s one year birthday, and Bailey’s birthday coming up. He got the photographer and her whole family involved to make sure they got the last session of the day, and had Bailey’s family and friends park in a completely different parking lot so that they could hide behind a curtain. Bailey didn’t know that the end of the photoshoot would involve Mike getting down on one knee to propose with everyone she loved there. She laughed in our meeting that the video probably has sounds of her “ugly crying”, so we know it was a good surprise. They got to celebrate with the people they love in a stunning room filled with flowers and a champagne cart. He really knew how to make the moment special.

I got to meet their pup, and we explored campus where Bailey and Mike first met working at the RPAC. I can’t WAIT to celebrate with them more this year.
