Franklin Park Conservatory Wedding | Melissa and Tommy

Wow! This is one of those days that I sit down to write about, and I feel like there are so many aspects that stand out to me. Melissa and Tommy are so incredibly kind. I knew that their friends and family would be just as sweet, and boy were they ever. The getting room was already filled with dancing when I arrived (I don’t think I’ll ever hear the song “Walking on Broken Glass” the same way again). I loved how the day for these two wasn’t just about them, but Melissa and Tommy were so thoughtful about their guests. The speeches were filled with mentions of loved ones who would have loved to see the day, and they had such a special, sweet surprise for Tommy’s sister. She also got married during the pandemic in the fall, and they were never able to have their first dance. There were so many tears when Melissa and Tommy took the time out of their day to have Tommy’s sister have her own first dance. The whole day was so stress-free, and they even got a chance to take a break from the pictures to grab beers at Land-Grant Brewing Company. The day was perfect.
