I didn’t get the chance to meet Christina and David until just last month. With them being in the last few crazy weeks of planning, we didn’t have an engagement session planned, but I was THRILLED when they wanted to drive all the way down from Cleveland just to have dinner with Cody and I. These two are literally everything I look for in friends. They let us know they could come to us so they could meet our kiddos, and they showed up with a bouquet of flowers and wine for taco night. We sat on the back porch and got to know them and our two little girls were obsessed. I knew there must have been a reason I liked Christina so much, because she has my original dream job (marriage and family therapist), and we both got the same degree for undergrad. She is warm and engaging and empathetic, obviously making a well-suited therapist. David was so chill and cool and joked with our kids. I wished they lived in town so we could spend more time with them.
I heard many times throughout the day the story of when Christina and David first met, both in the ceremony and the speeches. Apparently, Christina walked right up to David when she saw him in a bar, took his face in her hands, and told him he was beautiful. His best man was confused when David told him he had never met her before. I think that is just about the perfect story. It was always meant to be from then on out. We are so elated that we got invited into their story, and hope to see their family grow over time. **Also shout-out to Goldenwood Films, who referred us. I think Ellen and her husband may have become the best of friends with us as well, and we are so excited to welcome them in to Columbus soon!
