This session is kind of bittersweet for me. Rachael first contacted me after her engagement to Matt at Hocking Hills. She told me about their plans to be married at her family’s lake in Northern Michigan, which just sounds incredible. I first fell in love with Michigan last summer after traveling to Traverse City. Because of the distance and pandemic, Rachael and Matt knew they wouldn’t be able to get to their wedding photographer for an engagement session, and needed to find someone local to Columbus.
These two are so photogenic, and I had such a great time just wandering around Sharon Woods and downtown with them. I love their openness and how willing they were to just laugh with me. I’m so sad I won’t be there to witness their vows next year, and I know it’s going to be just stunning. See all the beauty here:
