Franklin Park Conservatory Wedding | Katie and Ted

Wedding

When Katie and Ted moved their full wedding reception day to next year, they knew that there was no question that they would still marry each other on their original date. I’m an introvert at heart; I do love a good wedding day full of the dancing and love from friends and family as much as anyone, but there is something romantic to me about the notion that a wedding day really is only about two people.

Katie and Ted stood alone with their officiant to exchange their vows, as their immediate family watched from a distance. There wasn’t a microphone, and no one could hear what they said. I could see it on their faces though. I’m so happy I got to be there to document the moment before they celebrate next year.

Location: Franklin Park Conservatory
