Silver Run Winery Wedding | Rachel and Joel

How lucky am I that I got to be included in this beautiful day? I’ve always been excited to photograph Rachel’s wedding day, because she’s obviously STUNNING. Heading up to Cleveland for Rachel and Joel’s engagement shoot last year and climbing through the water to the falls was one of the best adventures that I’ve been on.

Watching these two navigate the Coronavirus pandemic as they plan their wedding has been nothing short of inspiring. They decided to make the difficult decision to postpone their larger reception, while still committing to each other on their original day with family. Rachel transformed their local winery into the most elegant space. Every single person there was full of joy. One of my favorite touches was Joel surprising Rachel with the guests shooting confetti into the air in celebration, and the bottom of Joel’s hand-made shoes showcasing their wedding date and names. The celebration isn’t over – and I’m so happy to be invited back later so Rachel and Joel can dance with all of their family and friends. In the meantime, look at these two tying the knot. Perfection!
