Engagement

Taylor proposed in probably the most romantic way ever. When I sat down with these two over coffee, they told me about how he did it on a boat under the fireworks for the the fourth of July. Perfect. That is to say there weren’t bumps in the road. He may have initially forgotten the basket with the ring in it on the ride there, and he had to come up with a story about leaving behind his cell phone so they could retrieve it.

I love this story, because I feel like it’s an example of real life. These two laughed about it and clearly they know how to roll with the punches, which makes for a great marriage! When he did propose, these two were so excited they couldn’t even recall what he said.

We explored Columbus for some engagement pictures, and by the end we were laughing and showing off bad dance moves. I can’t wait to celebrate in October, because I can tell it’s going to be fun. Congratulations Ashley and Taylor!
