The Loft at Pickwick Place Wedding | Hanna and Joey

What a stunning day. I’ve loved getting to know Hanna through Starbucks meetings over the past year. These two lovebirds live in Arizona now, so we would catch up every time Hanna was in town wedding planning. Theirs is such a classic story. They met in Knox county when they were just kids. Joey said he still remembers the first time he saw Hanna on a bike at a cousins house when they were just 11 or 12 years old. They lost touch in college, but reconnected when she texted him “Happy Birthday”. They even made long-distance dating work for two years until they could be together. I loved getting to witness the moment they were able to solidify it all.

So many details stuck out to me during the day. Their adorable pup was there the entire day, and she was probably the most photogenic dog I’ve ever met. She never left their side, even while they exchanged gifts before the ceremony. Watching Hanna and her sister and mom shed tears after smelling her late grandfather’s handkerchief was so touching. Hanna tucked it in her dress so he could be with her the whole day. I also may have teared up at all the gifts Hanna so thoughtfully picked out for her parents and friends before the wedding. She gave her dad cufflinks with an image of her as a baby staring into his eyes. UGH! So emotional in the best way. See all the beauty here. Congratulations you two!
