This day was so special. I really enjoyed getting to know Kacy and Greg before the wedding. They met at Half Price books, which the book nerd in me finds so romantic. I loved hearing their plans for their wedding, which they described as “unconventional”. A gigantic bridal party, a tent pitched outside Kacy’s Dad’s place of employment, and food trucks as the meal. Creole 2 Geaux may be my new favorite food truck. And their was a BEER CANOE.
Their day just felt like them. Kacy was stunning in an vintage lace dress and purple birdcage veil. Their pup got carried down the aisle and enjoyed being passed around from guest to guest during the reception. And in a suprising turn of events, Kacy disappeared to chop off her hair at the beginning of the reception, surprising even the groom. It was so cool to be a part of.
