The Estate at New Albany Wedding | Haley and Wes

Because of the results of some tropical storm or other, it rained all day. It didn’t matter one bit. The Estate at New Albany is a BEAUTIFUL space even without venturing outside. I’ve always wanted to photograph around a candle-lit fireplace. Haley was stunning and her groom cried when he first laid eyes on her. They had an emotional ceremony, and as they were announced as husband and wife the crowd threw dried petals on them. I love how they immediately found themselves at the dance floor hugging and having a personal moment, just the two of them.

One of my favorite moments of the night was watching Wes and Haley’s first dance, which was the most beautiful we’ve seen. It didn’t look choreographed; it just looked like they were naturally so light on their feet and just having fun. I also loved how Wes’ brother got up to give the prayer and instead he got surprised by a rendition of “Happy Birthday to You” by the whole reception. We were so, so lucky to be there.
