When Laken and Dean first told me they were getting married at Goodale Park, I never imagined it would be timed so well under the gorgeous blossoms. Laken was stunning, and I doubt I will ever see such a picturesque walk down the aisle again. It did start pouring rain immediately following the ceremony, but it was like it was planned to stay beautiful and sunny just long enough for their nuptials.
We stopped by the Juniper Rooftop for some cocktails and to start celebrating with guests. Laken and Dean talked about how it felt to be married and had an impromptu dance session while overlooking all of Columbus. It was perfect. Some of my favorite moments of the evening was the stunning Kardashian-inspired “Love” greenery wall for guests to take pictures in front of, watching Laken’s specially adopted Scottish family celebrate with her after traveling over 20 hours for the day, and all of the fun (and break dancing) that guests had. Special thanks to Bell Hoy for making Laken and Dean’s dreams come true with such a beautiful space. You can tell how much these two love each other, and the fun has just begun.
