An Alum Creek Engagement | Emily and Scott

Engagement

Wow, this shoot makes me want to get every couple in the water. When I met with Emily, she excitedly talked with me about finding a spot near a lake or river for Scott, because he loves the water. He must have been happy because these two could not stop smiling. They are one of the most giggly couples I’ve photographed, and I LOVED it! I hesitantly had brought up the idea of actually getting in the water at the end of the shoot, and I’m so happy these two went along with it. Thankfully it was one of those abnormally warm days for early fall. They cuddled and splashed and it seemed like the had the whole creek to themselves.  We also played with glitter. It was so much fun!

Almost every time I would have Emily and Scott go nose-to-nose or forehead to forehead (which is probably one of my default ‘moves) this cute expression came out first. I love finding all the cute couple quirks. They were having so much fun!
