I love these two. Tessa and Patrick have definitely become friends during the wedding planning process. Tessa is a fellow creative soul, and we’ve spent some time talking about photos and editing. We’ve had them over playing with our daughter and I just couldn’t have been happier to witness their marriage. Their first look was especially touching, and you can see how much Patrick loves her written all over his face. I loved Tessa’s vision for the day. The blues and maroons came together perfectly. It was a rare heat wave for the end of September, with temperatures near the 90s, but you couldn’t tell. Everything was exactly as it should have been. Now they are off to Italy. Congratulations you guys!
I thought it was so special that Tessa did her own cake. We spent some quiet moments before cocktail hour getting it ready. Talk about a personal touch. They also took some time to practice their choreographed first dance. It may be one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Something about seeing the two of them dancing like that in a quiet, empty room just after getting married made me a little teary-eyed.
