I feel like every once in a while I end up having to apologize to my couples. The truth is, sometimes conditions line up where I feel like we are creating magic. The couple is in love. The sun is peeking out right during sunset. The wind is whipping the girl’s dress around like we hired someone to follow us around with a giant fan. I get so excited about what I see on the back of the camera that I end up jumping and yelling and I’m very aware of how un-professional it is.
Maybe it’s not such a bad thing to be unprofessional though. In fact, I don’t really want to have lots of boundaries between me and the couple. I like feeling so enthralled with their pictures that I could burst. I hope that they have to jump around and squeal with excitement too.
Last weekend was one of those times. I’m so happy to know Emily and Jarrod and to be the one who gets to capture their love.
