Danielle and Rob

Danielle is a dear friend from back in high school, and never would I have thought I would someday have the privilege of documenting her wedding to Rob. I remember visiting her college dorm when I still hadn’t graduated and bumming meals off of her swipes. While we haven’t seen each other in awhile (they live in Brooklyn, so jealous), her infectious laughter and penchant for telling me really randomly cool stories made me feel like we were 16 again. I love that after all this time these two have decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

In case you were wondering, yes, we were on a deer farm. And yes, we got to pet them. I’m constantly amazed by the cool spaces that this job takes me. When we discussed places we may want to take pictures, Danielle cautiously offered up the idea of shooting on her family’s land. It was unbelievably cool and so special to see the tree that she used to read in as a little girl and the barn that had been in their family for so long. I always have locations to shoot, but my favorite is always when my bride and grooms show me a piece of their life.
